Medicaid Braces

Many Medicaid patients are unaware that Medicaid can cover the cost of orthodontics in qualifying cases. Only children under the age of 21 will be considered for Medicaid Orthodontics assistance for dental braces. We will conduct a smile evaluation and let you know if your child qualifies for assistance. Once established as a candidate, we will submit the necessary records to Public Aid services for pre-approval. Once we receive a decision, we will inform you accordingly.

If your case is not approved for Medicaid coverage, there are still a variety of treatment options to choose from including resubmitting an application in a year or two, beginning limited treatment that is covered by Medicaid or discussing private payment options that we provide to assist Medicaid patients who have been denied coverage.
